President Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to deliver a special statement on the current economic situation, today.

The President is expected to make a statement on the country’s economic situation and the efforts securing the support of the international community.

The President during his recent visits to Japan and Philippines held discussions with Prime Ministers of India, Japan and Singapore.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe also met the President of the Philippines and chaired the annual meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank and delivered an address of Asia’s way forward amidst multiple global issues.
